The Living Room

“Orange is the happiest color”
—Frank Sinatra

Before

What We Did

Replaced the fake logs in the fireplace [replaced with glass], had a remote kit installed and replaced the backsplash with the same backsplash used in the kitchen.

The room centers around the fireplace, which has been completely redone. The imitation gas logs were removed and replaced with Azuria fire glass, which is just as captivating as it is beautiful. I also considered the emerald green fire glass but the Azuria made a better match. A remote kit was added and the same backsplash from the kitchen was used to round out the look.

The color combinations on the backsplash brings in the orange, yellow, teal and green colors throughout the room. The white Malachi coffee table bridges the gap between the orange Langley Street Valmy arm chairs and the Beguile grey couch. The green lettering on the Maurin Quina framed Cappiello piece and the green in the rug help to bring the lime green color from the fireplace around the room, giving a great color balance. The white Sawyer bookshelves, along with the white Cyril media center, help to bring clean lines and a polished look to the room.
